In addition to its extensive tea range, i Do! has now also launched a new product group with organic kitchen herbs. This product group consists of leaf herbs, spices, herb mixes and veggie mixes and is just as socially responsible as the tea range. For the packaging of the new product group i Do! wanted a packaging that is just as responsible and sustainable as the herbs. At Bio4pack they found the answer to this question.
“We are proud that a compostable solution from Bio4Pack has been chosen for the packaging of this new product group. When you look at the mission and vision of both companies, it is actually a very logical choice,” says a happy Patrick Gerritsen, director of Bio4Pack. “i Do! has opted for a packaging that has already shown its qualities with other Bio4Pack customers and again with the new herb line of iDo! comes into its own.”
The i Do! packaging is made from PaperWise. The raw material for this paper is waste material from agriculture. The window through which the herbs are clearly visible is a cellulose film from Natureflex. Naturally, the packaging complies with the EN-13432 standard for compostability and is therefore provided with the seedling logo. The packaging is not only compostable and sustainable, but also just as easy to process as traditional packaging. When it comes to the looks of the packaging, the Bio4Pack packaging is not inferior to ordinary packaging; the packaging can be printed in up to 6 colors.
